Western Red Cedar Shingles

NO. 1 PREMIUM OFFICIAL LABEL COLOR - BLUE

The premium grade of shingles for roofs and sidewalls. These top- grade shingles are 100% heartwood, 100% clear and 100% edge-grain. Re-manufactured products: re-butted, re-jointed and fancy butts.

NO. 2 OFFICIAL LABEL COLOR - RED

A good grade for many applications. Not less than 10"(254 mm) clear on 16" (406.4 mm) shingles, 11" (279.4 mm) clear on 18" ( 457.2 mm) shingles and 16"(406.4 mm) clear on 24"( 609.6 mm) shingles. Flat grain and limited sapwood are permitted in this grade.

NO. 3 OFFICIAL LABEL COLOR - BLACK

A utility grade for economy applications and secondary buildings. Not less than 6" (152.4 mm) clear on 16" (406.4 mm) and 18"(457.2 mm) shingles, 10" (254 mm) clear on 24" (609.6 mm) shingles.

DECORATIVE

A utility decorative grade wood. Common uses: fences, bird houses, dividing walls. This is not a weather resistant product. To accent interior walls, as a wall or door shim, as a filler to plumb walls, to help plumb for fancy butts. A product of 1000 uses.
